    Connect the app or remote

    Applies to: S1 · FL-01

    S1 supports Smart Life app control and the supplied remote control.

    • For app setup, use a strong 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi connection and keep the phone within 1 meter of the robot.
    • Turn on Bluetooth, then follow the Smart Life app pairing steps after the float indicator flashes red.
    • To pair the remote, power on the robot and remote, press the float's left button twice, then press any remote button.

    Get S1 ready to clean

    Follow the S1 guide before the first cleaning cycle.

    • Fully charge the robot before first use, then replace and tighten the charging-port cover.
    • Install the float securely before placing the robot in the pool.
    • Press the power button to turn on the robot; it starts in automatic mode by default.

    • Charge the cleaner fully before first use; a full charge takes about three hours.
    • Hold the red button on the underside for three seconds to power on.
    • Place the cleaner slowly into the pool; do not throw it.
    • When the battery is low, retrieve the cleaner after it moves toward the pool wall.

  • Maintenance

    Retrieve, clean, and store S1

    Prompt filter-basket care helps keep cleaning performance consistent.

    • When retrieving with the float, bring the robot up slowly and lift it out by the handle.
    • Remove and rinse the filter basket after each cleaning task; do not use a brush on it.
    • For off-season storage, power off, clean and dry the robot, then store it in a cool, ventilated place and recharge it every two months to 40% to 60%.

    • Power off before inspecting or cleaning the propeller.
    • Inspect and clean the propeller about every two months.
    • Dry the charging port before charging and replace its silicone plug afterward.
