Weekly Pool Maintenance Checklist: Test, Clean, and Record

A useful weekly pool maintenance routine is a short sequence of observations, cleaning tasks, and notes. Start with a fresh water test, remove visible debris, check the equipment you can safely inspect, and write down what changed. That gives you a repeatable baseline without guessing at chemical doses or treating every task as the same job.

1. Start with a water-and-weather note
